Could we please stress that the exclusion period from school if your child has sickness and/or diarrhoea isΒ 48 HOURS.Β This applies to all children regardless of the amount of times or reasons for vomiting.Β The well being of our pupils and staff is paramount so it is important that we avoid the spread of this nasty bug, therefore we have to adhere to this at all times; no exceptions will be made.
These exclusion periods have been taken from the Public Health Agencyβs βGuidance on infection control in schools and other childcare settingsβ March 2017.
