Today we were sorry to say goodbye to Miss Lynn. We have loved her teaching here for the past year covering Mrs Archers maternity leave. We wish her all the very best for the future.
With the collection money we were able to buy her a lovely necklace and earring set and a bottle of her favourite perfume.
This weeks new food for the children to try was figs.
They all had a try and quite a lot liked them.
A huge thank you to Karen for organising quiz nights at the Star Inn in aid of our school where they raised an amazing £355 for our school funds.
Today the food to try was mozzarella cheese.
Not everyone liked it but they all had a try – well done everyone!
Today the children went on a shape hunt in Harbottle looking for 2D shapes.
On Friday, 8th October, we invited parents into school for a reading café. We read Georgie grows a dragon, by Emma Lazell. The children and parents then took part in a range of activities based on the book and linked to a range of subject areas including English, maths, science and art. We had refreshments consisting of biscuits, cakes and crispy cakes that the children had made beforehand.

Everyone had a taste, but not everyone liked the fruit. Well done to everyone for having a try.
