This Friday our food challenge was barley and Mrs Rogers made a bowl full for all to try. Most of the children liked it and after Mrs Rogers told them that the gladiators used to eat it, they all headed out to play with added vigour!

In Science this half term, we have been learning all about plants. We have learnt about the different parts of a plant and what they do. Yesterday, we conducted an experiment to see how water moves through a plant. We planned our experiment, predicted what would happen and then made our observations. Finally, we noted what our experiment showed us. The children really enjoyed this! Super Scientists 🧑🔬 👩🔬!
