Yesterday, we looked at the changing height of the landscape of the UK. To demonstrate the relief of the land, we used potatoes to draw contour lines on them. We used colour to create a topographical image of the height of the landscape. Some brilliant topography!

Today, we had a special assembly to celebrate International Women’s Day of Prayer. We looked at the focus of the celebration. Nigeria is the setting for this year’s event. We found out about Nigeria and some of the problems facing people in Nigeria such poverty, hunger and persecution. The children listened exceptionally well.
