This Friday our food challenge was barley and Mrs Rogers made a bowl full for all to try. Most of the children liked it and after Mrs Rogers told them that the gladiators used to eat it, they all headed out to play with added vigour!
There will be a quiz night in aid of Harbottle School on Thursday 11th May at 8.00pm held in the Star Inn.

A huge thank you to Forever Yung Dance for organising a 50/50 raffle as a fundraiser for us.
The total amount raised was £540 and so £270 was given to our school and £270 to the lucky winner who was Janet Wood.

We had an amazing morning and raised the fantastic sum of £1131.
On Friday we had a non uniform day in aid of the red nose appeal and raised £35.

Today the food to try was a piece of grapefruit, which most of them liked, even though it was a little bitter!

Today the new food to try was corned beef. This was liked by most of the children.
Today we had a Wear Red for CHUF day (Children’s Heart Unit Fund) raising the awareness of their amazing work and support they give families. This organisation is very dear to the hearts of one of our families who has a child that was born with a very rare heart condition. We raised the sum of £77
